The newsletter for new art.

In this free monthly newsletter, you will be introduced to contemporary artists from around the world. 100% human-written and (I hope) free of academic jargon. The geographic focus is intended to be “everywhere,” but you can expect a lot from Asia, Europe and the Americas in the first year. Each issue will lead with one artist, and include up to several. :-)

Why subscribe?

Do you know which city has the most exciting contemporary art scene in Asia today, and why it’s Bangkok?

Has your art advisor failed to predict who will be hottest at the next Art Basel Miami Beach?

Subscribe to Several Artists and stay ahead of the curve! Get the latest issue in your Inbox before the pixels are dry! Up your Market-Intelligence Game!

The archive is free (see link above) and there is a dedicated web site at (surprise!) SeveralArtists.com that will, over time, have additional materials.

Wait, there’s more!

No, actually there isn’t more yet. But my long-term vision for Several Artists is that the newsletter subscribers will get offers and opportunities that I will not include in the archive or on the web site. If that kind of thing intrigues you, it’s another reason to sign up! If not, then please fall back to the other reasons.

Venture Capital Disclaimer

As is hopefully obvious, this newsletter is run on the Substack platform. I reserve the right to move it to another platform later, or no platform at all, if things change; but for now, I think Substack has done the best job of making a newsletter brand about writing.

There are lots of upsides to using Substack, and I hope they are transparent enough that you experience them as nothing but a lack of friction. However, do keep in mind that Substack is a VC-backed American startup with all that entails.

To find out more about the company that provides the tech for this newsletter, visit Substack.com.
